POETRY: 
**pick up the assignment from Google Classroom and type your poem in the google doc.  Peer feedback will be provided tomorrow Consider this guiding question: How has human development in a urban setting impacted the natural environment of the Duck Community?

 preview the Remembrance Day video to inspire you in writing a poem with an assigned partner, as a tribute to our fallen soldiers, veterans and men & women who fought/fight for our freedom today.  Time will be provided to begin your first draft in-class tomorrow. Pick up the assignment from Google Classroom and type your poem in the google doc.



MATH: Performance Tasks as an introduction to Geometry, students took part in Math Parliament sharing their math thinking in understanding triangles based on types of sides and types of angles
Today students completed a series of independent tasks (assessment of learning) focussing on fractions.

SCIENCE: pick up your assignment for the next few days via Google Classroom focussing Biodiversity in our City.

Voicethread: This interactive program allows you to collaborate and communicate to facilitate and guide your learning as a student community.  Due Thursday November 5th
