Students were true ambassadors today as we cheered on the Toronto Maple Leafs during their practice down at the Dieppe Park Arena.  A great way to say "thank you" to our students for completing the online digital citizenship course.  A special thanks to our parent volunteers for joining us today. 


POETRY: Write a poem, about a journey an animal embarks upon as they try to survive in a natural environment that has been negatively impacted by a local or global issue.  (This is to be written from the perspective of the animal).  Open assignment in Google Classroom (final poem due January 15th).

MATH: Data Management: Bowling Project we will be completing the planning stages of this project over the next few days in-class. Some at-home time may be needed.
Create a bar graph for your own Room 308 Players Total Scores (refer to the success criteria when planning your graph). Find the MMMR for tomorrow.

SCIENCE: Electricity Unit. REFER to the Big Idea questions Grade 6 OUTLINE; lass time provided and at-home will be useful to support group members. Impact Groups will be assigned tomorrow, be ready to share your expertise based on your research.


SOCIAL STUDIES:  Continuity and Change (watch video, finalize identifying elements of continuity and change, and finish rating scale)

PARENTS NOTE: 
* Extended French Forms were sent home before the holidays.  The due date is the end of the month. Please submit to the office as they are date-stamped.
** Over the next few weeks, flyers will be sent home from various middle schools as your child will transition from Grade 6 to Grade 7.  It is important that your child share this information with you so that you have the opportunity to visit schools, attend information nights and connect with the school that will best support your child's continued learning.
