HOUR OF CODE: sign up for the Largest Learning Event in History where students are inspired and empowered to see what they create online, in only one hour. Imagine what students will be able to create and inspire others with over the span of their own learning careers. We will be taking part in this awesome event tomorrow morning. Students who have completed the coding club game design, will be leaders, supporting other classes as needed.
Book Recommendation: Reviewing a favourite (or not so favourite) book allows you to analyze the book for a different perspective. It also gives you the opportunity to express an opinion through writing and develop your writing style and voice. In order to write an effective review, on that helps the reader decide whether or not to pick up a particular book, you must include certain elements. By recognizing different elements that are needed in a book review/recommendation you are able to express your opinions more effectively. DUE Friday December 11th
Action Plan (PSA): Students received oral peer feedback on their group PSA first cut projects. Students will be designing a poster to accompany their PSA footage. Video editing and poster design will be our in-class focus for the next few weeks.
Global Read Aloud: we will be focussing on developing character traits on the main characters from the book in preparation for a Book Trailer / Poster project. Information & notes within Google Classroom.
